Kindergarten Teaching Methodology
(As per Gujarat State Board Curriculum)
At our school, we believe that early childhood is the most important stage in a child’s development. Our Kindergarten program (Nursery, Jr. KG, Sr. KG) is designed to create a joyful, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment, following the guidelines of the Gujarat State Board (GSEB) curriculum.
We focus on holistic development through age-appropriate teaching methods that balance play, exploration, and foundational learning.
Key Features of Our Kindergarten Teaching Approach
Play-Based Learning
• Children learn best through play! We use toys, games, puzzles, music, and role-play to teach basic concepts.
• Activities are designed to develop creativity, imagination, and social interaction.
Theme-Based Curriculum
• Monthly themes such as My Family, Seasons, Animals, or Festivals integrate learning across subjects.
• These themes help children connect with their surroundings and develop language and cognitive skills.
Language Development (Gujarati & English)
• Introduction to letters, phonics, vocabulary, and sentence formation in Gujarati and English.
• Storytelling, rhymes, and picture books build listening and speaking skills.
Mathematical Concepts
• Basic math is introduced using counting games, number rhymes, shapes, colors, and patterns.
• Children learn through hands-on activities like sorting, matching, and block play.
Motor Skills Development
• Fine motor skills: Activities like drawing, clay modeling, buttoning, and beading.
• Gross motor skills: Running, jumping, dancing, and free play in open spaces.
Art & Craft
• Daily art activities such as coloring, painting, folding, and cutting encourage creativity and expression.
